On October 11, 2025, an important and heartfelt event took place on the territory of the picturesque Bryukhovytsky forestry of the Lviv forestry district - the ecological and social project "Forest of Unity", implemented by the public organization "Flora.by.Petriv" in cooperation with the "Kvyatkovsky Family Foundation", Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, Lviv University of Life Safety and the "Nezlamny" rehabilitation center.
This event brought together people of different ages and experience, but with one common goal - the restoration of nature and support for those who are especially in need of care today.
In a friendly, sincere atmosphere, the participants planted trees together, symbolically sewing up the wounds of our land and hearts.
What was especially touching was that the military undergoing rehabilitation joined the project. Their participation gave the event a deep meaning: it was not only about restoring the forest, but also about unity, support and mutual understanding.
Cadets from military schools worked alongside the military – side by side, in a symbolic gesture of gratitude and solidarity.
At a time when our country is experiencing difficult trials, such initiatives take on special importance.
The war took away a lot – including thousands of hectares of forests. But thanks to joint efforts, we are not only restoring nature, but also building bridges of unity, support and faith in a common future.
